Qualifications

• 2–3 years of leadership experience in lawn care or a related service industry strongly preferred.
• Experience managing crews or technicians in the field is highly valued.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Pesticide Applicator License (or willingness to obtain).
• Post-secondary education or equivalent hands‑on industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, and lead lawn care technicians.
• Oversee daily production routes and service quality.
• Handle escalated customer concerns related to service quality.
• Handle and resolve escalated customer concerns related to service quality or technician performance.
• Recruit, train, schedule, evaluate, and retain technicians.
• Ensure all service vehicles, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and ready for daily operations.
• Track and report on production metrics, service quality trends, and team performance.
• Work closely with the General Manager to improve operational efficiency and support company growth.

This role is ideal for someone who has experience in lawn care, pest control, landscaping, or another route‑based service industry and is ready to step into (or continue growing in) a leadership position.

What You’ll Do

• Interview, hire, lead, coach, and develop lawn care technicians through hands‑on field leadership, ride‑alongs, and ongoing training

• Ensure service quality, proper application techniques, calibration, and compliance with all product labels and regulations
• Handle and resolve escalated customer concerns related to service quality or technician performance
• Recruit, train, schedule, evaluate, and retain technicians
• Ensure all service vehicles, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and ready for daily operations
• Track and report on production metrics, service quality trends, and team performance
• Work closely with the General Manager to improve operational efficiency and support company growth

This is an active leadership role that balances time in the field with planning, coaching, and operational oversight.
