Jobot is seeking an Operations Manager for Commercial Door & Dock Services in Massachusetts. The role focuses on leading the service department, dispatching calls for dock equipment and doors, and driving KPI-driven performance.
Expect ownership of day-to-day operations and direct collaboration with leadership. You will coordinate with parts, sales, and installation teams, ensure safety compliance, and coach technicians to deliver high-quality work.
Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
We keep warehouses moving, trucks loading, and businesses running safely — and we have a good time doing it. We're a fast-growing overhead dock and door company that takes pride in doing quality work, supporting our technicians, and treating customers like partners.
The salary range above doesn't include additional compensation perks.
You start by reviewing the dispatch board and making sure today's jobs are matched to the right techs. Mid‑morning, a tech calls in from the field with a tricky gate repair — you talk them through it and decide whether it needs a second set of hands. A customer escalation lands on your desk before lunch; you handle it personally and it's resolved by early afternoon. You spend the rest of the day reviewing labor hours and KPIs, coordinating with the parts team on a delayed order, and wrapping up with a quick training session for a newer technician.
Strong Service Managers are frequently the first internal look when a Branch Manager opening comes up — this role is a proven stepping stone toward full P&L ownership as the company continues to grow.
