Job summary

Westminster Management is seeking a Property Maintenance Manager for Wynwood, Miami, FL. You will lead a maintenance team, oversee daily tasks and repairs, and ensure the property stays in excellent condition for residents and guests.

The role requires 3+ years in multifamily property management (or 5+ years in property management overall), strong knowledge of maintenance practices, safety, and fair housing regulations. A valid driver’s license and on-call availability are needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in multifamily property management or 5+ years in property management.
• Knowledge of maintenance practices and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with fair housing regulations and leadership experience.
• Ability to work on-call and extended hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all community maintenance work including service requests and preventive/emergency repairs.

As a Property Maintenance Manager, you'll oversee everything from daily maintenance tasks and building inspections to training and mentoring our team. You’ll be key in keeping our property in top shape, building strong relationships with residents, and ensuring everything runs smoothly – rain or shine!

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

• Experience That Shines:3+ years of experience in multifamily property management or 5+ years in property management.
• Knowledge You Can Count On:In-depth knowledge of maintenance practices, safety protocols, and fair housing regulations.
• Leadership Skills:Leadership experience, with a track record of managing teams and fostering strong working relationships.
• Tech Savvy:Experience with property management software-Yardi preferred, purchase order systems, Microsoft Office, and collaboration tools like Teams and Zoom.
• Flexibility:Ability to work on-call and extended hours (including weekends and holidays).
• Hight Standards:A hands-on approach and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work and safety.
• Physical ReadinessComfortable with tasks that involve bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces. Ability to climb ladders (up to 30 feet) and walk multiple flights of stairs daily. Flexibility to work indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions.
• License:A valid Driver’s License!
