Job Summary

This is a working Lead, who will manage and organize the day to day operation of the service department.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, services, maintains, and corrects unit conditions by conducting inspections, preventative maintenance and diagnostic testing
• Services and maintains tools, equipment, vehicles and supplies
• Assessment and prioritization of daily operational activities at site level
• Support the focus on service goals and standards, while aiding and challenging peers
• Support training and supervision of service personnel as directed by local management
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
• On-call availability as required by management
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

Job Requirements

Two years of mechanical experience in transport refrigeration preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, climb stairs/ladders.
• Ability to lift / carry / push / pull up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Ability to work in hot and cold temperature extremes.
• Ability to wear required PPE (personal protective equipment)
