KELLY AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE MANAGER
Job Summary: Under the general direction of the General Manager and Fixed Operations Manager, the Service Manager is responsible for the daily service operations.
Position Description: The position requires managerial skills in assuring the service department operates at peak efficiency. Subordinates are to be evaluated, trained, assigned duties, and monitored for top performance. The Service Manager is responsible for inventory control within his department.

Qualification Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Active working experience with automobile service is required.
Knowledge of: automotive operations and service, production systems, automotive technical systems, maintenance and repair strategies, computer software and internet operations, personnel supervision strategies, legal requirements for position. Factory training and certification are required.
Skill in: leadership, directing, coaching, analysis, written and verbal communication, mathematics, organizing, reading and understanding, customer service.
Ability to: work with people, work as a team member, innovate, direct others, analyze and make informed decisions, work independently, set goals, manage time effectively, follow and support organization’s goals and objectives.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, handle objects, keyboards or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand and sit. The employee is required to walk, stoop, kneel, talk, and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
