Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking a Service Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the commercial door service department.

You will plan, schedule, and dispatch to meet daily commitments while ensuring cost efficiency and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of personnel management experience, with strong communication skills and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and at least two years of personnel management experience.
• Strong communication with customers to ensure satisfaction exceeds expectations.
• Ability to understand technical applications and mechanical systems.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the commercial door service department.
• Plan, schedule, and dispatch to meet daily customer commitments.
• Review workload and manpower to meet commitments cost-effectively.
• Ensure projects are completed timely, under budget, and to customer satisfaction.
• Review monthly reports with frontline managers to drive improvements.
• Develop and coach field staff through regular performance reviews.
• Assist with hiring, training, and development of new employees.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the commercial door service department
• Plan, manage, and implement schedules to meet daily customer commitments and ensure that the plan is properly executed
• Review workload and manpower to meet customer commitments in a cost effective manner
• Ensure that projects are completed timely, below budget and to the satisfaction of the customer
• Review monthly financial/operational reports and work with front-line managers to develop action plans to improve
• Improve individual performance of the field force you manage through daily, monthly and yearly performance reviews
• Will assist with hiring, training and developing new employees
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, highly preferred and a minimum of two (2) years of experience managing personnel; an equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered
• Responsible for communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction levels consistently exceed expectations
• Review customer survey data, respond to customer concerns
• Possess an ability for technical applications and mechanical systems
• Must possess a Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
