Job summary

NOVO Health Services in Louisville is seeking a Service Manager to own routes, lead the team, and drive the customer experience. You’ll hire, train, and coach Route Service Representatives who deliver clean linen and pick up soiled product daily, stepping in to run routes when required.

This leadership role emphasizes safety, DOT/FMCSA compliance, audits, and fleet performance. You’ll contribute to growth with a fast-expanding hospital linen partner.

Qualifications

• This role requires prior management experience in a route-based or distribution environment.
• Demonstrated focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
• Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA compliance and fleet safety requirements.
• Comfort handling budgeting, route efficiency, and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer experience and daily account functions including audits and reconciliations.
• Recruit, train, and coach Route Service Representatives and cover routes when needed.
• Ensure fleet safety, route on-time execution, and proper vehicle maintenance logs.
• Drive growth by delivering reliable service and maintaining strong customer relationships.

You'll hire, train, and coach the Route Service Representatives who deliver clean linen and pick up soil product every day — and you'll be ready to run a route yourself when the business needs you to. You're The Right Fit If You

• High School Degree,
• Bring previous management experience and strong leadership skills, ideally in a route-based or distribution environment
• Have a demonstrated quality focus and a customer-centric mindset
• Know your way around DOT/FMCSA compliance and can keep a fleet safe, clean, and road-ready
• Bring financial awareness and are comfortable with the numbers behind the routes you run
• Can adapt fast — competing demands and a rapidly growing customer base don't rattle you
• Have reliable transportation and can pass customer credentialing requirements

A bachelor's degree is a plus, but we care more about what you've actually run and delivered.
