Job summary

Russ Darrow Metro Nissan is seeking a reliable Service Porter/Lot Attendant to support daily service department operations. You will greet customers in the service drive, escort them to the writing area, and help direct their check-in, while keeping the service drive organized and safe.

This role requires attention to detail, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. No experience?

• Greet customers promptly and professionally as they arrive in the service drive.
• Escort customers to the service writing area and assist with directing them through the service check-in process.
• Move customer vehicles safely between the service drive, stalls, parking areas, and pickup areas as directed.
• Keep the service drive, shop area, and customer waiting area clean, organized, and presentable.
• Complete end-of-day cleanup of the shop and service writing areas.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working in a fast-paced environment, and providing a positive first impression for our service customers.As a Service Lot Attendant, you will play an important role in assisting customers as they arrive for service, helping maintain an organized service drive, and supporting the service advisors, technicians, and overall service department.ResponsibilitiesGreet customers promptly and professionally as they arrive in the service driveEscort customers to the service writing area and assist with directing them through the service check-in processOffer customers available amenities and help ensure they feel welcomed and comfortable during their visitMove customer vehicles safely between the service drive, technician stalls, parking areas, and pickup areas as directedRetrieve vehicles from service stalls and return them to the service drive for customer pickupEscort customers back to their vehicles when service is completedHelp maintain a clean, organized, and professional service drive, shop area, service advisor area, and customer waiting areaComplete end-of-day cleanup of the shop and service writing areasEnsure printers are stocked with paper and supplies as neededMonitor service department forms and supplies and restock as neededKeep the customer waiting area clean, organized, and stocked with amenities such as snacks and beveragesAssist with keeping dealership grounds and service areas clean and presentable, including snow and debris removal as neededFollow dealership safety procedures when moving, parking, and handling customer vehiclesAbout UsThe Darrow Difference is the foundation of our success – and we want you to be a part of it!Are you outgoing, enjoy meeting new people, and have a passion for the latest technology?
