Corewell Health East seeks a senior service line leader to guide strategic development, staffing, and operational efficiency in partnership with physician leadership. Establishes guidelines, structure and procedures for the strategic development, efficiency of clinical service line in partnership with the clinical service line physician leader. Supports strategic planning, marketing, operations, financial management, quality initiatives, regulatory compliance and system integration in areas of responsibility. Consistently demonstrates the development of a culture of continuous process improvement. Assures that a high quality of service is provided to patients and physicians and that all activities are in accordance with the mission, objectives, and standards of care for Corewell Health East.
Executes plans for operational structure and staffing. Leads the service line development and operations including standardization of work processes to support our integrated delivery of care model. Provides key input into recommended structure, staffing configuration and provide input into the development of the strategic operating plan. Creates scorecard metrics for assigned departments and divisions. Partners with other strategic leaders to create detailed, actionable productivity reports and feedback reports to operational leaders. Partners with medical leadership to create and monitor physician performance standards, measures and feedback. Acts in concert with other key constituency groups and promote integration with other members of the system. Leads patient care flow and perception initiatives to drive a patient centric organization. Ensures operating compliance with all quality and risk requirements for physician practices within areas of responsibility. Organizes, coordinates and integrates physicians and operational leaders in the running of the service line. Develops and achieves business goals that include establishing and maintaining quality and safety standards for areas of responsibility, developing strategic plan, implementing strategic plan, developing dashboards and oversight of clinical service line in partnership with medical director. Maintains current knowledge of how changes in the health care environment affect physicians and their practice and inpatient and outpatient care delivery. Leads the identification, development, implementation, and monitoring of all clinical service programs (service lines) for areas of responsibility. Coordinates with physician leadership in the recruitment of needed physician and APP resources and with operations on the recruitment of operational resources. Participates on committees as requested, leads organizational efforts to achieve mission and vision of the Corewell Health East under the guidance of the CHE Service Line Governance Council. Identifies, recommends, develops, and updates strategic long and short-range plans to support Corewell Health East strategy.
