THE OPPORTUNITY

The Service Leader is responsible for maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served; and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service. He/she maintains a clean, organized line with properly functioning line equipment. The responsibilities of this position require Service Leaders to be on their feet working while clocked in, unless on break. If they are not busy, they are expected to evaluate what other tasks need to be completed and assist others with those tasks.

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure high-quality, great tasting food is served and help resolve food quality issues.
  • Support food safety protocols, including hand washing, glove changes, monitoring time and temperature, and following safety checklists.
  • Help resolve customer incidents to ensure positive experiences.
  • Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, meetings, and schedules.
  • Develop and cross-train front of house Crew members.
  • Assist with Crew performance reviews and develop future Service Leaders.
  • Handle office administration duties like banking, cash handling, and paperwork.
  • Maintain office equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure adequate supplies are available as needed.

What You’ll Bring To The Table

  • Understanding of Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
  • Knowledge of cash handling policies and food safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with office paperwork.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) of the work location.
  • High school diploma.
  • Restaurant experience.
