THE OPPORTUNITY

The Service Leader is responsible for maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served; and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service. He/she maintains a clean, organized line with properly functioning line equipment. The responsibilities of this position require Service Leaders to be on their feet working while clocked in, unless on break. If they are not busy, they are expected to evaluate what other tasks need to be completed and assist others with those tasks.

What You’ll Do

  • Follow Chipotle’s policies and procedures.
  • Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served.
  • Help resolve food quality issues.
  • Support food safety measures, including hand washing, glove changes, monitoring time and temperature, secondary shelf lives, and completing the Daily Food Safety Checklist.
  • Help resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences.
  • Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, meetings, and schedules.
  • Develop and cross-train all front of house Crew.
  • Assist with Crew performance reviews and developing future Service Leaders.
  • Assist with office administration duties such as banking, cash handling, and paperwork.
  • Ensure office equipment functions properly and supplies are ordered as needed.
  • Maintain adequate supplies.

What You’ll Bring To The Table

  • Understanding of Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
  • Knowledge and experience with cash handling policies.
  • Knowledge of Food Safety and health department standards.
  • Familiarity with office paperwork.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
  • High school diploma.
  • Restaurant experience.
