Teksky LLC in Ohio is seeking an experienced Service Lead Technician to oversee field service operations for industrial water and wastewater treatment systems. You will lead startups, troubleshoot complex equipment, and coordinate commissioning and training for technicians.

The role requires 5+ years in field service with pumps, valves, instrumentation, and electrical controls, plus travel about 50%. Valid driver’s license and pre-employment drug screen are needed.

• PLC and HMI troubleshooting; Allen-Bradley experience preferred.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Service Lead Technician to support industrial water and wastewater treatment systems. This role involves leading field service operations, troubleshooting equipment, coordinating system startups and commissioning, and training technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead customer startups, commissioning, and field service activities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and instrumentation.
• Service industrial water treatment, wastewater treatment, reverse osmosis, and water purification equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and system checks.
• Prepare service reports and recommend repairs, replacement parts, and system upgrades.
• Coordinate service schedules with customers, engineering, and project management teams.
• Assist with service quotes, contracts, renewals, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Train and mentor technicians on troubleshooting and service procedures.
• Support shop testing and equipment preparation when not traveling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field service experience with industrial process, water, or wastewater treatment equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills involving pumps, valves, instrumentation, and electrical controls.
• PLC and HMI troubleshooting experience; Allen-Bradley experience preferred.
• Experience with equipment startups, commissioning, and customer coordination.
• Previous experience training or leading technicians.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Shop fabrication, piping, or welding experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time initially.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
