Job Description / Preferred Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• System Configuration & Feature Management: Configuration of planning parameters and business logic within the service inventory planning system related to demand forecasting, inventory optimization, replenishment and supply processes.
• Identify and document requirements for enhancements and work with internal and external teams to complete successful development and implementation.
• Evaluate the impact of configuration changes on downstream planning, execution, and reporting, and communicate impacts clearly to stakeholders.

Business Analysis

• Perform ad hoc analytics using a variety of tools and data sources.
• Define and/or develop analytical tools in PowerBI and other data visualization technologies.
• Identify opportunities to enhance data reporting landscape.

Testing, Validation & Continuous Improvement

• Design and execute functional testing for configuration changes, new features, and enhancements.
• Validate planning outputs against business expectations and real-world results.
• Identify opportunities to simplify configurations, standardize logic, and improve system usability and scalability.

Documentation & Communication

• Maintain clear documentation of system configuration, planning logic, assumptions, and data design.
• Support knowledge transfer, training, and enablement for business users and partners.
• Act as a subject matter expert for the service inventory planning system.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with service inventory planning systems such as Prophet by Baxter Planning, PTC SPM or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience configuring or supporting forecasting, inventory optimization, or supply operations in a service environment.
• Experience translating business requirements into system logic, parameters, or configurations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets.
• Proficiency with Excel and analytical tools; experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus.
• Understanding of inventory planning concepts such as demand forecasting, inventory optimization, service levels, transactional automation and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

• Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master’s Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor’s Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years.

Base Pay Range: $90,400.00 - $153,700.00 Annually
