Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a Service Technician to troubleshoot and repair lift trucks. This role includes performing planned maintenance and processing job paperwork.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, ideally pursuing a technical degree, along with strong mechanical and communication skills. A comprehensive benefits package including Health/Dental/Vision and a 401K Retirement Plan is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working toward a technical degree.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and internal combustion engines.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair lift trucks.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance.
• Process paperwork after job completion.
• Participate in training activities.

Skills

Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes

• Process paperwork after completion of each job.
• Participate in training activities.

• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Ability to safely operate lift trucks.
