Job description

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking customer-focused technicians skilled in auto, diesel, aircraft, or forklift maintenance to join our field service team.

Job Duties

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and other makes of lift trucks.
• Perform all planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after each job.

Minimum Qualifications

• Less than 2 years of related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Good written and verbal communication, and customer‑care skills.
• Technical degree, prior lift truck repair, welding experience, and familiarity with testing equipment.
• Experience with hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder, and testing equipment.
• Industry‑related training preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow service manuals and plans.
