Job summary

Guardian Protection Services, Inc. is seeking a Lead Commercial Installer to oversee the installation of commercial security systems across intrusion, fire detection, video surveillance, and access control.

The role collaborates with sales and operations to ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality deployments. You will read blueprints, install cabling and devices, and mentor junior staff while adhering to safety protocols and coordinating with managers to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial security installation experience.
• Willingness to obtain NICET certification(s) as required.
• Possess or be able to obtain fire alarm technician licenses for Ohio and West Virginia.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Work alone or as part of a team to complete installations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents.
• Install cabling, field devices and controls according to specifications.
• Ensure installations are on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
• Coordinate with managers and team members to meet schedule.
• Train and mentor junior installers.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Interact with owners and end users including training stakeholders in system operation.
• Commission cloud-based systems on users' mobile devices and train them in operation.

What You’ll Be Doing:
