Job summary

McCardel Culligan in Traverse City, MI is seeking a Service & Installation Technician to install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial water treatment systems, including water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, and filtration equipment.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, educate customers, and complete service documentation, while delivering friendly, professional service and helping families and businesses enjoy clean, high-quality water daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, construction, maintenance or related mechanical field preferred but training provided.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical work.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Dependable, organized and self-motivated.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, with occasional flexibility as needed.

Position Overview

As a Service & Installation Technician, you'll install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial water treatment systems, including water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, and filtration equipment. Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair Culligan water treatment equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose mechanical or operational issues.
