Job summary

McCardel Culligan is seeking a Service & Installation Technician to install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial water treatment systems. You’ll diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and educate customers on operating their systems.

This role blends hands-on technical work with strong customer service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Qualified candidates will have mechanical aptitude, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, construction, maintenance, or a related mechanical field is preferred but not required; training provided.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Dependable, organized, and self-motivated.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, with occasional flexibility as needed.

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, office staff, and fellow team members.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a clean and organized manner.

Position Overview

As a Service & Installation Technician, you'll install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial water treatment systems, including water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, and filtration equipment. Every day brings a new challenge as you diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and help customers get the most from their water treatment systems.

This role combines hands-on technical work with customer service, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and making a positive impact in customers' homes and businesses.
