Job summary

Evolving Solution Services in Troy, MI is seeking a full-time technical professional to help build and commission new systems in house, troubleshoot and repair legacy equipment at customer facilities, and perform preventative maintenance tasks.

The role requires traveling across North America to installations and training customer personnel on HMS equipment from an electrical and operators perspective, while adhering to NEC code standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate’s Degree in an Industrial category or Technical degree preferred.
• Have worked under an Electrical Journeyman’s or Facilities License.
• Ability to obtain a passport.
• Has worked in maintenance or engineering within an industrial environment for at least 3 years.

Position Overview

• Help build and commission new systems in house.
• Troubleshoot and repair legacy equipment at customer’s facilities.

Required Skills

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics for installations and troubleshooting.
• Ability to Install and troubleshoot Industrial Electrical circuits; from high voltage three phase down to low voltage circuits
• Have and be able to use common electrical tools and measuring devices.
• Be able to work in a team environment.
• Be able to travel throughout North America.
• Able to understand and follow current NEC code concerning Industrial and Commercial Environments.

Tangibles

• Ability to get online with PLCs and able to read and troubleshoot ladder logic.
• Able to use Microsoft applications on the computer.
