Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, service, and maintain HVAC equipment including small and large split systems, small and large packaged units, large air handling units, mini-split systems, VAV systems and fan-powered boxes, exhaust fans and ventilation systems, self-contained units and CRAC units, water-source heat pumps, VRF/VRV systems, boilers, cooling towers, and pumps.
  • Perform major mechanical repairs including replacement of large motors and compressors, bearing replacement in motors, air handlers, and cooling towers, laser alignment of pumps and rotating equipment.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to extend equipment life and improve system efficiency.
  • Analyze system performance and recommend corrective actions or upgrades.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable codes.
  • Document service activities, repairs, and maintenance actions accurately.
  • Participate in department meetings as requested

Job Summary
