Job summary

Volkswagen of Corpus Christi is seeking an Express Service Technician to perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter changes, and to conduct thorough multi-point inspections. You will identify problems quickly, drive vehicles for testing, and replace worn parts while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced dealership environment.

You will use power tools and basic electronic testing equipment as part of repairs and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Identify problems quickly.
• Good knowledge of automobiles.
• Effective analytical and communication skills.
• Good reading, computer, and mathematics skills.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications.
• Should be able to operate basic electronic testing equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Technical degree preferred.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Positive, friendly attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance on vehicles such as oil changes, tire rotations, filter changes.
