Volkswagen of Corpus Christi is looking for an Express Service Technician to perform routine maintenance, multi-point inspections, and diagnostic work in a fast-paced shop. You will drive vehicles for testing, isolate potential issues, and repair or replace worn parts as needed, while maintaining high efficiency and accuracy.

Strong automotive knowledge and problem-solving ability are essential. The role requires basic reading, computer and math skills, plus the ability to learn new repair

Qualifications

• Identify problems quickly and accurately.
• Good knowledge of automobiles and systems.
• Analytical and communication skills to explain issues clearly.
• Reading, computer and mathematics skills for diagnostics.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair procedures.
• Capable of operating basic electronic testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance on vehicles such as oil changes, tire rotations, filter changes.
• Perform quality multi-point inspections on vehicles.
• Isolate components that might cause future problems on vehicles.
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy while performing maintenance on vehicles.
• Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks.
