Saft is seeking an ESS Service Engineer to support the O&M of installed ESS projects and ensure a smooth transition to LTSA. You will coordinate with Saft technicians, Service Managers, and Authorized Agents to close out engineering actions and punchlists after project delivery.
The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering and 8+ years in systems/electrical engineering, with knowledge of power and battery systems, controls, and SCADA interfaces.
The ESS Service Engineer reports to the Service Team Manager and is tasked with supporting the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of installed ESS projects. During project execution, the ESS Service Engineer is reponsible for ensuring the project is readying for transition to Long Term Service Agreement (LTSA). The ESS Service Engineer supports closing out the list of engineering actions and punchlist items after delivery of the project. The ESS Services Engineer also provides support to Saft technicians, Saft Service Managers, and Saft Authorized Agents (SAA) throughout the LTSA period and O&M phase. The ESS Service Engineer is expected to have experience in optimization of DC and AC coupled Battery Energy Storage System (ESS), System integration, and ESS controller design.
