TDIndustries is seeking a Service Technician III - Electrical (Senior Level) to provide technical support, guidance, and training to other service technicians and to maintain and repair electronic components and equipment. You will review schematics, inspect systems, and use diagnostic tools to identify malfunctions and repair or replace defective components.

  • Required in Texas: Electrical Journeyman License.
  • 5-7 years preferred

Responsibilities

  • Review schematics, perform visual inspections, and use diagnostic tools to identify malfunctions.
  • Repair or replace defective components to ensure proper system operation.
  • Perform aerial, electrical, and lighting installations including energized work and generator installation.
  • Manage service contracts, quoted projects, and service calls while prioritizing customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate multi-tech jobs and align work with project start-up schedules.
  • Train and provide technical guidance to technicians and coordinate subcontractors.
  • Document invoicing data based on hours, materials, and equipment used.
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and inventory stock on service vehicle.

The Service Technician III - Electrical (Senior Level) serves as a front-line resource by providing technical support, guidance, and training to other service technicians. This role is responsible for the maintenance and repair of electronic components and equipment, ensuring systems operate correctly and efficiently. Duties include reviewing schematics, performing visual inspections, using diagnostic tools to identify malfunctions, and repairing or replacing defective components as needed.



  • Utilizes advanced diagnostic techniques to optimize electrical system performance through thorough observation, testing, and setup tailored to each trade/position requirements.

  • Performs aerial, electrical, and lighting installations to include energized electrical work, distribution (gear), and generator installation. Performs planned maintenance and inspections as indicated in the service agreement.

  • Efficiently manages service contracts, quoted projects, and service calls while prioritizing customer satisfaction. Builds lasting relationships with clients, effectively communicates project updates to stakeholders, and ensures transparency throughout the process.

  • Serves as a front-line resource to service technicians through technical support. Coordinates the work of subcontractors, and trains and provides guidance to technicians.

  • Coordinates multi-tech jobs, and accomplishes multiple tasks on multiple projects with minimal impact, if any, between projects. Reviews job contract specifications and assists with installation plan. Coordinates work so it aligns with the project and start-up schedule.

  • Safely drives a motor vehicle and trailer, follows requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adheres to all company safety requirements.

  • Completes documentation of invoicing data based on hours worked and materials/equipment used to complete the service.

  • Purchases materials and issues purchase order numbers to suppliers.

  • Maintains equipment, tools, and inventory stock on service vehicle.
