Job summary

Schwickert's Tecta America in Minnesota is seeking a 4th or 5th Year Electrical Apprentice for our Commercial & Industrial Electrical Service Department. Move beyond construction and grow into a skilled service electrician working with journeymen to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install systems for commercial and industrial customers throughout southern Minnesota.

This role offers hands-on learning toward journeyman status, with starting pay of $33–$38 per hour and a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Registered as a 4th or 5th Year Minnesota Electrical Apprentice.
• Strong troubleshooting aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Commercial or industrial electrical experience preferred.
• Excellent work ethic and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently while developing technical skills.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist and work alongside experienced service electricians.
• Troubleshoot commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• Perform repairs, maintenance, and service upgrades.
• Install panels, disconnects, lighting, controls, motors, and related electrical equipment.
• Complete preventive maintenance and electrical inspections.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide outstanding service.
• Complete service documentation accurately and safely.
