A-1 Electrical Contractors, Inc. is hiring a Service Apprentice to join our service team supporting Greater New Orleans and Northshore clients.

You’ll work alongside a Journeyman Service Electrician on service calls, repairs, and maintenance, earning while you learn through our four-year program of on-the-job training and classroom theory. Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have at least 2 years of on the job training.
• OSHA 10 certification before your first day on an active jobsite; OSHA 30 by the end of Year 2.
• Commitment to completing the four-year program, including all classroom theory hours.
• Your own personal hand tools.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.

Aufgaben

• Field work under supervision of a Journeyman Electrician or Foreman installing electrical systems per NEC and company standards.
• Bend and install conduit, pull wire, rough in boxes, and install devices.
• Ride along on service and emergency calls, diagnose and repair electrical problems on commercial systems.
• Respect client property, keep work areas clean, and communicate professionally with clients and coworkers.
• Handle, stage, and track tools and materials, and label work accurately.
• Follow company safety rules, OSHA standards, lockout/tagout and PPE requirements.
