Summary/Objective:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensure that work complies with relevant codes.

Essential Functions:

• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Test electrical systems and circuit continuity using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure system safety and compatibility.
• Use various tools and equipment including power construction tools, measuring devices, and testing instruments.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility: No

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in the electrical field within a commercial/industrial environment or an equivalent combination of vocational training and experience.
• Ability to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow instructions, pay attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow electrical code manuals for installation and repair of electrical systems.
• Must pass post-offer pre-employment drug screening and may undergo additional background checks (e.g., DMV, criminal history).
• Adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• Availability to report to multiple job sites as assigned.

The work environment and physical demands include:

Work Environment:

• Varying temperatures, both indoors and outdoors, including inclement weather, heat, humidity, cold, and dampness.
• Exposure to moderate/high noise levels.
• Exposure to fumes or airborne particles, including dust.
• Working in confined spaces or at heights.

Physical Demands:

• Use of heavy machinery, hand and power tools.
• Climbing, bending, pulling, reaching overhead, standing/walking for long periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Use of hands to handle objects and tools; reaching with hands and arms.
• Ability to identify all wire/cable colors and see close and distant vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment.

Travel:

• May require travel, typically not overnight.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Journeyman's license
