Malace|HR is seeking an experienced Electrician to work in the Kalamazoo, MI area. The position will be mobile with commercial accounts. A company-provided work van outfitted with all essential tools will be provided. Normal hours are 8 AM - 6 PM.

Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following responsibilities:

• Lighting installation and fixture setup
• Wiring and testing control panels
• Bending and mounting electrical conduit
• Starting and testing new control circuits
• Basic troubleshooting
• Fire alarm experience is a plus
• Reading blueprints
• Working at multiple job sites in a day or week
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in accordance with NEC guidelines
• Pulling and running wire
• Installing panels

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to accurately complete work tickets and timesheets on time
• Proficient in operating smartphones, tablets, and laptops
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Safe driving of company vehicle to customer locations
• Ability to work outdoors

Requirements

• Maintaining, repairing, installing, and testing switchgear and transformers
• Servicing and maintaining commercial electrical systems on emergency, non-emergency, and preventative bases
• Installing, examining, replacing, or repairing electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, Ethernet and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other electrical equipment
• Performing other duties as assigned
