Mr. Electric of Land O Lakes, Lakeland, Riverview is seeking 3 skilled and personable Service Electricians to join our growing team! As a Service Electrician, your primary goal will be producing revenue by performing top-quality electrical services for residential customers. You'll diagnose and repair electrical issues, ensure code compliance, and create a positive customer experience every step of the way. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems
• Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints
• Perform general electrical maintenance and inspections of transformers and circuit breakers
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices (ammeters, schematics, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes
• Follow the company's process to ensure exceptional service
• Collect dispatch fees and payments in accordance with company policies
• Maintain company vehicle (cleanliness, routine maintenance, inventory management)
• Accurately update invoices, estimates, and material usage
• Perform warranty and recall work per company guidelines
  
  

Qualifications

• Required:
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
• Experience with both low and high voltage systems
• Understanding of electrical schematics and current flow measurement tools
• Ownership of necessary hand and power tools
• Desired:
• Prior experience as a service electrician
• Strong customer service skills
• Coachable with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Strong troubleshooting abilities
