Jim Taylor Auto Group in Monroe, LA is seeking a Service Department Porter to support the service team by moving and parking vehicles, keeping the service drive clean, and ensuring customers receive friendly, efficient service. This role collaborates with technicians and advisors, assists with check-in/check-out, and handles routine maintenance tasks.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Move and park vehicles in designated areas.
• Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot and ensure they are clean and presentable.
• Greet customers and assist with their needs; provide courtesy transportation as needed.
• Transport parts and tools to service technicians as required; assist with vehicle check-in/out.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements and assist with inventory management.
