Job summary

Ferman Automotive Group is seeking a Service Porter to support daily service department operations at our Tarpon Springs location. You will move and park vehicles, keep the service drive organized, and assist with check-ins, deliveries, and customer vehicle retrievals to ensure a smooth flow of traffic and a positive customer experience.

Ideal candidates will have attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist team members.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Move and park customer and dealership vehicles safely throughout the service department and dealership property.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the service drive, parking areas, and service lanes.
• Assist with vehicle check-in, delivery preparation, and customer vehicle retrieval.
• Wash or perform light cleaning of vehicles as needed.
• Monitor vehicle inventory locations and assist with vehicle staging.
• Assist Service Advisors and technicians with operational support tasks.
• Ensure vehicles are locked, secured, and handled according to dealership procedures.
• Inspect vehicles for visible damage and report concerns to management.
• Keep dealership grounds and service areas clean and presentable.
• Follow all dealership safety procedures and traffic guidelines.
• Support additional service department tasks as assigned.
