The Service Development Representative is responsible for implementing business and marketing plans within their assigned territory. This role collects information from referring professionals or facilities and meets with potential patients to conduct pre-admission screenings, serving as a liaison between referral sources and the Hospital. Information gathered is submitted to the Intake Department for admission eligibility determination.
The Service Development Representative assists patients and families in identifying appropriate care alternatives and communicates pre-screening results and recommendations to patients, families, and referral sources in accordance with company policy.
This position plays an active role in community service development. Representatives provide consultative support and educational services throughout the month while promoting mental health prevention awareness.
The Representative develops positive relationships with community resources and professional networks to ensure a seamless continuum of care and maintain strong collaborative partnerships. The ultimate goal of this position is to improve the overall quality of life for mental health patients referred to the organization.
The ideal candidate is an LPN with marketing experience. This position requires travel and includes responsibility for the entire state of Louisiana.
