Job summary

Bronson Healthcare is seeking a Service Desk professional for the Bronson South Haven Wellness Center. The role focuses on exceptional member service, reception duties, cafe operations, and overall support for a busy club environment.

Responsibilities include welcoming members, handling check-ins and POS transactions, and maintaining a friendly, efficient front desk during shifts. This is a part-time PRN position requiring strong communication and multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to warmly welcome people as they enter the club.
• Professional telephone personality and clear communication.
• Basic computer skills for member check-ins and information lookup.
• Good math skills and accuracy in handling transactions.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy wellness center.
• Experience with cafe operations, smoothie prep, and cafe cleaning.
• Familiarity with check-in and POS computers.
• Experience processing cafe and proshop sales and handling cash.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to members and guests.
• Perform day-to-day administrative, cafe and reception tasks of the Wellness Center.
• Deliver superior service and information to members, guests and teammates.
• Enforce Wellness Center policies and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
• Operate cafe appliances and handle smoothie prep and cleanup.
• Use check-in and POS systems and process sales.
• Answer a multiline phone system and assist with inquiries.

Title Service Desk PRN

This position is responsible for providing a large, diversified clientele with outstanding customer service by performing the day-to-day administrative, cafe and reception functions of a large exercise facility while successfully administering all service desk operations. Service desk staff is primarily responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to existing members and guest ensuring retention and growth. Provides superior service to members and prospects in a timely, professional, and courteous manner. This includes performing all job functions at an exceptional level and adhering to established areas of accountability.

Effective November 1, 2022 a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is no longer required for this position. BLS/AED certification preferred.

• Ensure that delinquent members are not gaining access to the club
• Work is done behind the service desk, or at a specified quiet area for performing cash-outs at end of shifts.
• All areas are well lit and climate controlled.
• Service desk can be noisy and hectic at peak times.

• Infrequent lifting (below 50 lbs.), constant standing, sitting at a desk for administrative tasks, using a computer for member check-ins, using a telephone, food preparations in Smoothie Well.
• Interpersonal demands for this position are high.
• Personal communications both verbally and written are required.
