Job summary

T-Rex Solutions, LLC is seeking a fully cleared Service Desk Engineer to join our Mission Management team at Ft. Meade, MD in support of the Intelligence Community.

You will analyze requirements, develop system specifications, and provide technical leadership for system integration and operation, guiding projects through design, test, and implementation while communicating with government overseers and executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 7 years of related experience; 12 years with substitutions.
• Active TS/SCI with FSP within 7 years required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, concepts of operations, and system architectures to draft specs.
• Lead design and development activities and ensure technical integrity.

Are you ready to make a significant impact by supporting critical national security infrastructure? T-Rex Solutions is looking for a fully cleared Service Desk Engineer to join our dynamic team at Ft. Meade, MD in support of the Intelligence Community.

Analyzes user requirements, the concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities. Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches and conducts feasibility studies. Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations. Develops technical documentation. Develops system Architecture and system design documentation. Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues, or conflicts. Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed, and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.

As part of the Mission Management team candidate will be responsible for supporting customers who are integrating with Enterprise and IC Attribute and Authorization services. Mission Management support will be provided to:

• aid development teams in understanding how to integrate and resolve issues with REST Services.
• Support end users to resolve issues where their accesses are being granted or denied incorrectly.

The candidate will use JIRA for ticket management and will provide support in a variety of methods not limited to e-mail, chat, and phone. Ideal candidate is someone who is an analytical thinker that enjoys solving puzzles/problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's and 7 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. 5 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree for a total of 12 years.
• Active TS/SCI w/ FSP required within 7 years.

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $170,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
