Position Summary / Responsibilities:

We are seeking a motivated, career-oriented, and customer-focused Tier I Help Desk Agent to join our team in Jonesboro, AR, and begin an exciting career with Sebastian Tech Solutions (STS).

Job Description:

This position may require shift work in a 24x7x365 environment, requiring flexibility in work hours.

Required Education/Skills:

  • Minimum 1 year of technical support experience in a call center environment
  • Proven hardware/software troubleshooting skills
  • Experience providing professional communication, addressing moderately complex technical issues via telephone, email, and chat
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • Ability to work well with teammates in a fast-paced SLA-driven environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including effective collaboration
  • Understanding of IT concepts and experience with service desk software
  • Logical troubleshooting skills and ability to act decisively in critical situations
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office and Windows OS in an enterprise environment
  • Experience with account administration and password resets in Microsoft Active Directory
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be a US Citizen able to obtain a US Secret (or higher) clearance

Availability:

  • Willing to work any shift in a 24x7x365 environment, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to start work promptly at scheduled shift time
  • Position is currently remote with potential on-site transition in the future

Desired Education/Skills:

  • 2+ years of support experience
  • Familiarity with government IT environment and processes
  • Technical certifications such as A+, N+, MCP, MCSE, CCNA

Job Details:

Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.02/hour

Hours: 40/week
