Job Summary

Perform repairs on various ZOLL products. Duties will include investigation of customer complaints, troubleshooting/repair of failures to board level/sub-assembly and documentation of repairs in ERP system. Provide guidance and training to junior repair technicians.

Essential Functions

  • Work within limits of prescribed procedures to ensure accurate completion of unit repair
  • Document repairs made and parts used in our ERP system
  • Troubleshoot problems to board level or sub-assembly to determine root cause of failure
  • Perform mechanical and software upgrades
  • Collaborate with QA Engineers as required on details of complaint investigation
  • Ability to efficiently transition between product lines
  • Provide product, process and systems training as needed

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma Technical High School Graduate preferred
  • 5+ years of related troubleshooting/repair experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Computer literate, familiar with MS Windows, Word, Excel, Etc.
  • Read and understand SOPs and work instructions
  • Read and understand diagnostic data
  • Familiarity with test equipment (e.g. patient simulators, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other test equipment)
  • Maintain accreditation on multiple products
  • Willingness and ability to train peers on products, processes and systems used within role
  • Ability to effectively communicate and deliver technical information
  • Act as a "team player" with a positive and collaborative approach to their work
  • Exemplify many of the ZOLL Leadership Qualities including humility, courage, resilience, intellectual curiosity, inspirational leadership, customer orientation, values diversity and forward thinking
