Job summary

The Save Mart Companies in California is seeking a Service Deli Manager to lead day-to-day deli operations, manage packaging, ordering, and merchandising, and ensure excellent customer service to drive sales.

You will schedule staff, train associates, enforce company policies, monitor production, and maintain quality and cost controls. This role requires a year of college, two years of related experience, and flexible retail hours.

Qualifications

• Follow company sales and production planning standards.
• Read, write, and perform basic math calculations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership/team building and training skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and suggestive selling ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of service deli operations, including ordering and inventory control.
• Oversee product ordering, deli operations, merchandising, and department management.

• Ensure proper food preparation and packaging.
• Lead and instruct employees, recognize sale trends, and promote teamwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
