Job summary

Tony's Fresh Market, LLC is hiring a Service Deli Cook to maintain hot food display cases and prepare foods per the Executive Chef's recipes. You will respond to customer questions, stock displays, and uphold food safety standards in a fast-paced deli environment.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, physical fitness for lifting and standing, and teamwork to deliver quality service to our communities.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Service Deli Cook your primary responsibility will include maintaining hot food display cases and prepare food as needed in the kitchen by the recipes provided by the Executive Chef.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer questions in an effective manner.
• Stock products and maintain product displays according to merchandising standards.
• Basic department cleaning upkeep including and not limited to pots, pans, & utensils.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products for our customers.
• Assist customers with their orders for a variety of deli services.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• May perform other duties as assigned or required.

• Regularly required to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.
• The work environment is typical of a retail store. The noise level ranges from quiet to loud.
• The Service Deli is cooler than most areas however when preparing food, you will be in a hot environment.
• Minimal sitting is required.
