Job summary

Heritagecareersite is seeking a Service Deli Clerk to assist customers, make product suggestions, and fulfill special orders while delivering exceptional service. You will stock cases and maintain deli displays to ensure variety and quality.

You will follow food safety and sanitation requirements, clean work areas and equipment, and work in a fast-paced retail environment, including handling a slicer and sharp objects as needed.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen sense of details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Can handle lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting while handling products or using various equipment.
• Ability to shine in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 18 years or older for the Deli Clerk position.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Service Deli Clerk, you will provide product suggestions and assist customers with special orders while you provide our customers with exceptional customer service. You will stock cases and ensure that our customers have a variety of high-quality deli items to choose from. You will ensure complete compliance with food safety and sanitation requirements throughout your daily work. You will clean and sanitize dishes, food preparation areas, and equipment.

• The work environment is typical of a retail store. The noise level ranges from quiet to loud.
• The Service Deli is cooler than most areas in the store so must adapt and be comfortable in a cold environment.
• Minimal sitting is required.

Disclaimer:

Pay scale $15.00 - $20.00

The pay scale above is the hourly wage range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position. *Manager roles have a bonus target potential paid out quarterly based on company results/metrics.

Within this range, individual pay is determined by location and other factors including, but not limited to, specific skills, relevant work experience, and relevant education and/or training.
