Job summary

Tony's Fresh Market is seeking a Service Deli Clerk to assist customers, provide product suggestions, and fulfill special orders while delivering exceptional service. You will stock cases, maintain displays, and ensure food safety and sanitation.

This fast-paced role requires comfort with a slicer, strong organization, and teamwork to keep the deli area clean and stocked.

Pay is $15.00–$20.10 per hour, with medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan, plus opportunities for growth.

• Can handle lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting while handling products or using various equipment.

• Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
• Respond to customer questions in an effective manner.

• Basic department cleaning upkeep.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products for our customers.
• Assist customers with their orders for a variety of deli services.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Service Deli Clerk, you will provide product suggestions and assist customers with special orders while you provide our customers with exceptional customer service. You will stock cases and ensure that our customers have a variety of high-quality deli items to choose from. You will ensure complete compliance with food safety and sanitation requirements throughout your daily work. You will clean and sanitize dishes, food preparation areas, and equipment.

• The work environment is typical of a retail store. The noise level ranges from quiet to loud.


• The Service Deli is cooler than most areas in the store so must adapt and be comfortable in a cold environment.

The pay scale above is the hourly wage range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position.
*Manager roles have a bonus target potential paid out quarterly based on company results/metrics.

Within this range, individual pay is determined by location and other factors including,
but not limited to, specific skills, relevant work experience, and relevant education and/or training.
