Tony's Fresh Market in Illinois is seeking a Service Deli Clerk to provide product suggestions and assist customers with special orders while delivering exceptional service. You will stock cases, maintain displays, and ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation throughout daily duties, including operating slicers as needed.

The role requires a detail-oriented, fast-paced, customer-focused approach and the ability to lift and move items as part of responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen sense of details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Must be 18 years or older for the Deli Clerk position.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and building rapport with customers.
• Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
• Respond to customer questions in an effective manner.
• Stock products and maintain product displays according to merchandising standards.
• Basic department cleaning upkeep.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products for our customers.
• Assist customers with their orders for a variety of deli services.
• Provide product suggestions and assist customers with special orders.
• Must be comfortable working with a slicer and/or sharp objects to execute duties.
• May perform other duties as assigned or required.
