Tony's Fresh Market in Round Lake Beach, IL is seeking a Service Deli Clerk to assist customers, stock deli items, and ensure food safety standards. You will offer product suggestions, handle special orders, and maintain clean, organized displays in a fast-paced retail deli environment.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, answering questions, stocking displays, and following sanitation procedures. Must be 18+ and comfortable with slicers; opportunities for growth and a team-focused

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen sense of details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Can handle lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting while handling products or using various equipment.
• Ability to shine in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 18 years or older for the Deli Clerk position.

Responsabilités

• Greeting and building rapport with customers.
• Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
• Respond to customer questions in an effective manner.
• Stock products and maintain product displays according to merchandising standards.
• Basic department cleaning upkeep.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products for our customers.
• Assist customers with their orders for a variety of deli services.
• Provide product suggestions and assist customers with special orders.
• Must be comfortable working with a slicer and/or sharp objects to execute duties.
• May perform other duties as assigned or required.
