Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Service Coordinator in Columbia, MD to answer, respond to, and resolve incoming customer service calls with professionalism and speed. You will coordinate service with technicians and customers, contributing to Convergint's position as a leading service provider.

You will join a team that values integrity, growth, and collaboration. Minimum 3–5 years in call center, dispatch, or admin roles, with strong Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word skills.

Qualifications

• Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience
• Minimum Experience: 3-5 years call center, dispatch, or administrative experience
• Preferred Experience: construction industry, automation, or similar environment

• Provide co-ordination of service with technicians, sub-contractors and customers within designated CTC location.
• May act as a lead, coordinating the work of others, but not a supervisor.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You’ll Need

• Exceptional telephone and personal customer service skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word skills.
• Strong financial knowledge and skills—ability to understand financials such as accounts receivable/payable, purchase orders, work orders, etc.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent ability to facilitate a collaborative working environment for customers and team members.

The anticipated compensation of this position is $30 - $35 per hour.
