Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a Service Coordinator in Charlotte, NC, in-office. You will schedule and dispatch technicians, handle customer inquiries, and coordinate startups and progress updates for ongoing jobs.

The role also involves invoicing, basic AP/AR support, warranty administration, and onboarding new hires. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and service-tracking software is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-4+ years of related experience in a mechanical, electrical, or plumbing service field.
• HVAC technician collaboration experience preferred.
• Experience with service tracking software (Astea) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch technicians for jobs with supervisor/operations or district managers.
• Handle customer inquiries and route technical questions to the appropriate resource.
• Track time and attendance for technicians and manage job startups.

Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!Location: Charlotte NC - In-OfficeYour Responsibilities:Work with Technician Supervisor and/or Operations, Service Center or District Manager in scheduling and dispatching of technicians for jobs (Startups/repairs, warranty, maintenance)Handle customer inquiries and routes questions of technical nature to the appropriate resourceTracking of time and attendance for techniciansCoordinate job startups and maintain communication with the customer regarding scheduling for the startup and follow-up on jobs in progress/completedInvoice and bill customersAssist in performing local office AP/AR functions and follows up with customer to ensure that payment has been receivedCoordinate warranty administration process, parts orders, and track shipmentsAnswer telephones and greet customers while maintaining professional and courteous customer contactAssist new hires in the completion of their new hire paperwork, complete employer required sections of forms (I-9) and ensure that it is sent to Human Resources on the new employee’s first day of employmentMaintain OSHA logsEnter all information and maintain information into Enterprise Resource System. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls.
