Job summary

Dickson City Hyundai in Scranton, PA is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor. No automotive experience is required – we’ll train the right person. Earn potential $70K–$100K+ per year with salary, commission and monthly bonuses.

Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–6 PM, no weekends, in a busy family-owned dealership with a team-first culture. You’ll greet customers, document needs, write repair orders, develop estimates, and communicate clearly with customers and technicians to keep repairs moving and

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a professional service experience.
• Listen to customer concerns and document their needs.
• Perform pre-write-up vehicle inspections.
• Work with technicians and the Parts Department to keep repairs moving.
• Provide repair and maintenance estimates.
• Clearly explain recommended services to customers.
• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process.
• Schedule appointments and help manage daily workflow.
• Review completed repairs and process customer payments.
• Follow up with customers when needed.
• Build long-term customer relationships.

Job description

As a service consultant you will be responsible for initiating automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer records. You will serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.
