Superior Auto, Inc. is seeking an experienced Service Center Detailer to join our team in Evansville, IN. You will professionally detail vehicles and inspect them to ensure they meet quality standards before reconditioning is complete.

The role involves interior and exterior detailing, paint touch-ups, and assisting technicians as part of the reconditioning process. A strong eye for detail and a proactive, team-oriented approach are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of professional automotive detailing experience.
• Experience with paint touch-ups, wet sanding, buffing, and basic paint correction.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
• Ability to recognize visible mechanical, safety, cosmetic, and repair concerns.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced automotive environment.
• A team-oriented attitude and willingness to jump in where needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with limited moving violations within the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Complete professional interior and exterior vehicle detailing.
• Inspect incoming vehicles for condition, safety, cosmetic, and repair concerns.
• Perform paint touch-ups, wet sanding, buffing, and basic paint correction.
• Identify mechanical or safety concerns that need technician or management attention.
• Complete quality-control checks on finished vehicles.
• Assist technicians with reconditioning and repair-related tasks as needed.
• Work with the Service Center team to keep vehicles moving efficiently through the reconditioning process.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Help the team meet daily production and quality goals.

Salary Range: $18.00 To $19.00 Hourly

Superior Auto, Inc. is a growing regional automotive group with nearly 50 years of experience helping customers get the reliable transportation they need. We’re looking for an experienced Service Center Detailer to join our team!

You will be an important part of our reconditioning process, helping inspect incoming inventory, identify concerns, perform professional cosmetic reconditioning, and ensure vehicles meet our quality standards before leaving the Service Center.
