Smithtown Toyota is seeking a full-time Service Cashier to join our team. This a great opportunity to break into an exciting industry with plenty of opportunities for growth!

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Process payments for automotive services using cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure that all transactions are completed in a timely manner
  • Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Schedule service appointments
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have weekday and Saturday availability; the service department is closed on Sundays, no Sunday shifts required
  • Cashiering experience strongly preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus, but not required
