Service Cashier

Our company offers an outstanding opportunity for results-focused, highly driven, and experienced Service Cashiers. The Service Cashier processes monetary and credit card transactions, as well as completes and closes repair orders for the dealership’s clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Create and print repair orders, parts invoices, bills, and itemized lists showing amounts due
• Record amounts received
• Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
• Process repair orders, operate credit card and "Telecheck" machines
• Maintain records of daily transactions and prepare cash reports
• Calculate discounts and charges, and apply them to the proper accounts on repair orders
• Prepare daily bank deposits
• Understand extended service policies, processes, and extended warranty payments for repair orders
• Assist in scheduling courtesy transportation and car rentals
• Process mail
• Assist the receptionist
• Attend department meetings
• Perform scanning and filing duties
• Handle purchase orders
• Generate exceptions reports

Education/Experience

Must be available evenings and weekends. High school diploma or GED required; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required. Strong computer and internet skills, problem-solving, organizational skills, and leadership abilities are necessary.
