Job Summary

Responsible for daily pool and grounds maintenance for an apartment community.

Description

Reports to: Community Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor.

Supervises: None.

Essential Functions

• Remove trash from office areas and community common areas daily.
• Clean and maintain pool daily, monitor chemical balance, update logs.
• Check pool gates for proper operation and security.
• Clean carpets in units as directed.
• Water plants, flowers, and grass; report irrigation issues.
• Perform power washing as preventative maintenance.
• Remove trash from vacant units.
• Assist with cleaning offices, grounds, and vacant apartments.

Experience or Specialized Knowledge

• Six months of stable employment in customer service or related field.

Qualifications

Education and Training

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; not required.

Certificates and Memberships

• On-the-job training available.
• Must have required certifications/permits (e.g., pool operations).

Skills and Equipment

• Preferred: Carpet/Steam cleaning machine, Wet-Dry Vacuum, blower.
