Job Summary: Responsible for daily pool and grounds maintenance for an apartment community.

Reports To: Community Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor.

Supervises: None.

Essential Functions

• Remove trash from office areas and community common areas daily.
• Clean and maintain pool daily, monitor chemical levels, and update logs.
• Check pool gates for proper operation and security.
• Clean carpets in units as directed.
• Water plants, flowers, and grass; report irrigation issues.
• Perform power washing as preventative maintenance.
• Remove trash from vacant units.
• Assist with cleaning office, grounds, and vacant apartments.

Experience or Specialized Knowledge

Six months of stable employment in customer service or related field; skills can be learned on-the-job.

Qualifications

Required Education and Training

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; not required.

Training/Certificates/Associations

• Entry-level position with on-the-job training available.
• Must have required city or state certifications (e.g., pool operations).

Skills/Equipment

• Preferred: Carpet/Steam cleaning machines, wet-dry vacuum, leaf/trash blower, pool testing kits.
• Experience with tools for apartment make-ready duties is a plus.
